Dessert and Story Time with Santa
Pizza will be served.
Come early to help set up.
February Event will be the “Royal Ball” a father/daughter dance
X. YAB Charter
They will be contacting us about this.
XI. Rec. Center rooftop garden
Too many plausibility issues for the Rec. Center, but perhaps continue
researching
XII. April- Keep it Clean Day
Generally agreed that the keep It Clean Day project would be better than the
skits discussed at earlier meeting because it would have more impact. Mandy
will find out more about this.
XIV. Eyes and Ears
Daisy–elementary school children, like her brothers, are worried about J-Walking
when they see other kids walking to school.
We talked about safety of cars seeing pedestrians, but agreed the responsibility
goes both ways.
A big part of it may be that kids are not educated well enough about the dangers.
Eliza- there are already signs- what more can be done? If they don’t pay
attention to the signs?
Education is the key- talk to the schools about it and see what they think.
