Open Space Master Plan has been moving forward via consultants with <br />staff review. <br />5. Recently purchased a spotting scope for raptor viewing. <br />6. Reviewing the purchase of motion activated wildlife cameras. <br />7. Several new requests for memorial benches. Request for Davidson Mesa <br />and Daughenbaugh. <br />8. Easement for storm water drainage on Adler Fingru nearly finalized. <br />9. Upcoming meeting for Harney Lastoka – work opportunity for Youth <br />Corps from Boulder County and Lafayette to help with historic <br />preservation. <br />10. Continued meetings with the Louisville library in order to further joint <br />educational activities. <br />11. Public works are clearing trickle ditches and doing some mowing to <br />maintain them on Open Space. <br />12. Joe Stevens – Director of Parks and Recreation – informed the board that <br />Conoco Phillips has refined their submittal timeline for the development of <br />the 432 acre site. <br />Board Updates <br />1. Spencer stated that CCTV is looking for an Open Space volunteer that <br />would be available for approximately five minutes to perform an interview. <br />Spencer suggested that the format represent a general overview of open space <br />interests and potential questions from the public. Spencer also updated the new <br />board members as to the work that OSAB has achieved throughout 2010 <br />regarding public awareness and education associated with the various benefits of <br />th <br />open space. The next CCTV interview will be at 7 pm on the 19 of January. <br />2. Tom stated that he received a complaint yesterday that the “Dutch <br />Creek Double Track” has been utilized by City vehicles to access the Coal Creek <br />golf course and he updated the Board regarding a letter to Police Chief Goodman <br />regarding the landing of hot air balloons on open space within the City. Justin <br />McClure stated that BRAD (Business Retention and Development) was working <br />on establishing a commuter trail to enhance bicycle and pedestrian access to the <br />CTC business park. <br />2011 Housekeeping: <br />1.Board contact information has been updated / verified. <br />2.
