Loo stated she is having a hard time understanding why t <br />working so hard on the eastern property and not other I <br />where there is dance studio, etc. She stated her conc <br />meeting, Februar <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Planning Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />January 13, 2011 <br />Page 11 of 14 <br />staff has an opportunity to discuss situation of the eastern property with the City <br />Attorney. He stated he wants to know how specific the language can get. He <br />recommended a continuance to the next meeting and to have the City Attorney <br />present for advice the Commission on how restrictive they can be. <br />Russell and Lipton discussed concerns regarding the removal of a specific site <br />as a possible site for a dispensary. <br />Russell stated staff should create criteria to limit use on the eastern property. <br />Commission is <br />ns similar to areas <br />ith being too specific. <br />She would support voting on it this evening and forwarding to City council. <br />to City Council with the <br />O'Connell stated she would like to push it forw <br />concerns addressed by the Commission. <br />Russell stated he felt it is worth a contin - to allow for further r rch and <br />answers from the City Attorney. He state b - is more concerned ab he <br />eastern property as a gateway to the comm which allows this type of use. <br />He stated staff has provided all they can with t they were given. He continues <br />to struggle with the individual stories shared duri g the meeting. <br />Lipton stated he is conflicted with reasonin the specific property is zoned <br />CB.
