LOCAL NEWS <br />Louisville awarded for Marshall Fire Story Project <br />By ANDREA GRAJEDA I agrajeda@prairiemountainmedia.com I Prairie Mountain Media <br />PUBLISHED: July 9, 2024 at 12:58 p.m. <br />Daily Camera <br />Subscribe <br />Log in <br />The Louisville Historical Museum has been awarded for its Marshall Fire Story Project, which captured the stories of fire survivors in the immediate aftermath of <br />the fire. <br />The American Association for State and Local History gave the Award of Excellence to the historical museum, 1001 Main St., the museum announced Monday. <br />Museum staff started the Marshall Fire Story Project in response to the fire on Dec. 30, 2021, recognizing the urgency and importance of documenting the fire <br />and the immediate aftermath through stories, photos and personal stories.
