D. SIGNS, INC. APPLICANT. APRIL 10, <br />1980 <br /> <br />Corrmunity Building, 801 Grant Ave., Louisville, CO <br /> <br />The IlEeting of the Foard of Appeals and Foard of Adjustments was called to <br />order. <br /> <br />1. ROIL CAll. <br /> <br />Present: <br />Robert Ross, Chainmn <br />IOn Pickett, Vice-Chairman <br />IOn Ross, M3nber <br />Gil Reed, M3nber <br />Fob llivies, M3nber <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br />Steve Ferris, Chief Building <br />Inspector and Secretary <br /> <br />Also present were IOn Kliethenres, representing the applicant, I. D. Signs, <br />Inc., and Charles Klarich, representing Jacobs, Kahn, & Co., Owners. <br /> <br />2. Applicant desires tw:> variances frem Section 17. 24.160 of the Louisville <br />MLmicipal Code so as to pennit the increase in size of the rnaximum <br />gross surface area of signs in a non-residential district frem 100 square <br />feet to approximately 256 square feet, (Sign "A"), and frem 100 square feet <br />to 'approximately 400 square feet, (Sign "B"). ' <br /> <br />3. After some general discussion, a lIDtion was made by Ibn Ross, and was <br />seconded by Fob llivies, to grant the variance for Case 111980-1, Sign <br />"A", with the following stipulations: <br /> <br />1) . This Sign is a temporary sign and will require review in one (1) <br />year from date of issuance of pennit up to a rnaximum of three <br />years. <br /> <br />2) . Sign will be placed so as to maintain a rni..nimJm vision clearance <br />area of 150 feet at the intersection involved. <br /> <br />The lIDtion was approved unanimJusly, and the variance was granted. <br /> <br />4. After SOIlE general discussion, a lIDtion was made by fun Ross, and was <br />seconded by Vice-Chainmn Pickett, to grant the variance for Case # 1980-2, <br />Sign "B", with the following stipulations; <br /> <br />1) . This sign is a tenporary sign and will require review in one (1) year <br />from date of issuance of pennit up to a maxiIm.m of three years. <br /> <br />The lIDtion was approved unaninously, and the variance was granted. <br /> <br />5. The Foard of Appeals and Adjust:ID2nts aoopted the By-Laws for the Foard. <br />6. The IlEeting of the Foard of Appeals and Adjustments was adjourned. <br />
