Chairman Robert Ross opens the Public Hearing by calling the meeting <br />to order. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL. <br /> <br />A. Roll Call is taken by Chief Building Inspector Steve Ferris, Secretary <br />of the Board of Appeals and Board of Adjustments. <br />1. Staff Present: <br />Steve Ferris, Chief Building Official and Secretary. <br /> <br />3. STAFF CERTIFICATION OF PROPER PUBLIC NOTICE. <br /> <br />A. "Notice of Public Hearing" was published in the Louisville Times on <br />WedneSday, February 11, 1981, and on Wednesday, February 18, 1981. <br />B. "Notice of Public Hearing" was mailed to all property owners within <br />a 300 foot radius on February 6, 1981. <br /> <br />4. PRESENTATION BY APPLICANT OR REPRESENTATIVE. <br /> <br />A. Thomas A. Bovio, the applicant, is asking for a variance from the <br />Louisville Municipal Code so as to permit the reduction of a side <br />yard setback from the required 7 feet to 5 feet 0 inches in order <br />to attach a garage to the side of an already eXisting structure. <br />Included is a 9 foot garage door, and a 2.5 foot walk-in door on <br />the front side, which requires a garage width of 15 feet. The <br />distance from the existing structure to the property line is approx- <br />imately 21.7 feet. Therefore, Bovio is requesting a variance in <br />the side yard setback from 7 feet to 5 feet to allow room for the <br />addition. Section 17.12.040 of the Louisville Municipal Code <br />requires a minimum side yard setback of 7 feet. <br />
