Local Licensing Authority Meeting Minutes November 27, 2023 Page 5 of 7 motion was seconded by Carlson. Roll call vote was unanimous for approval. H. Public Hearing: Transfer Application — Mt. Fuji Louisville, Inc. d/b/a Mt. Fuji Sushi & Hibachi — Hotel & Restaurant Liquor License — 269 McCaslin Blvd. The Public Hearing was opened by Kuafman. The Secretary stated the application was complete, the premises was posted, notice published as required and no comments were received. Background reports were conducted as required. There were no reasons to deny the application. There were no authority member disclosures and the members agreed that the boundaries of the neighborhood are the current city boundaries. Kaufman moved the entire application be made part of the record of the hearing; Carlson seconded. All in favor. The applicant, Yaojia Chen, was sworn in by the Secretary and gave testimony on the application for a Hotel & Restaurant Liquor License. The Secretary indicated there was no correspondence received in support or opposition of the application and she didn't see anyone online or in the audience to speak. There was no additional member discussion. Lipton noted that the applicant was of good moral character, there is a desire for the license to be granted and that all City and State law requirements have been met. Based on those findings, Lipton moved that the application for transfer of a Hotel & Restaurant Liquor License be approved. The motion was seconded by Carlson. McCaslin Blvd. The Public Hearing was opened by Kaufman. The Secretary stated the application was complete, the premises was posted, notice published as required and no comments were received. Background reports were conducted as required. There were no reasons to deny the application. There were no authority member disclosures and the members agreed that the boundaries of the neighborhood are the current city boundaries.
