City Manager Items
Mayor Sisk expressed disappointment that the Town of Superior Board of Trustees
removed funding for the Louisville Public Library from their 2007 Budget, which was
adopted at their Board Meeting last night. He stated that he has spoken to several
individuals regarding this development and suggested that staff develop a response to
send to Mayor Muckle and the Superior Board of Trustees.

Mayor Pro Tem Don Brown suggested that the City clearly communicate our objective to
enter into a long-term agreement to provide Library services to the residents of Superior,
including a deadline for executing an agreement. He recommended placing a draft
agreement on the December 19, 2006 agenda for Council consideration.

Council directed staff to develop an Intergovernmental Agreement to present to Superior
with a deadline for executing the agreement and action that will occur if an agreement is
not reached.

Heather Balser agreed to draft a letter from Mayor Sisk to send to the Town of Superior
Board of Trustees.

4.
