This is according to the Boulder County Flood Insur- <br />ance Rate Map (panel 204) dated July 15, 1988. <br />The AO zone is described as an area of 100-year shallow flooding <br />where depths are between one and three feet. <br />It is not possible to precisely determine the theoretical inunda- <br />tion depth at your properties. Under the adopted flood plain <br />regulations you would need to submit such a finding made by a <br />registered professional engineer, together with recommended <br />floodproofing measures. A special exception permit would be <br />needed from the Board of Adjustment prior to issuance of building <br />permits for substantial development or re -development of the <br />properties. <br />A copy of the flood plain regulations is enclosed for reference. <br />John A.
