As she was not in attendance at the
meeting, it was tabled.

Changes to Landmark Agreement
Members reviewed the City Attorney's proposed changes to the language of the
Landmark Agreement. Muth noted the changes were to clarify language and better
explain that landmarking transfers with the building.

All members approved the new language.

Subcommittee Reports
There were no reports from any of the subcommittees. Lewis asked that at the January
meeting the Commission discuss possibly either disbanding the s committees or at
least reorganizing them in hopes of finding a better use of everyon time and
resources.

Items from Staff
. Best Practices Pamphlet - Muth asked memb view the pamphlet and get
comments back to her.
. Muth noted that Wilcox will not be applying t .nted to his position
when his term concludes in January. e asked m bers to recruit new
applicants if they know anyone who m be interested.
. Muth explained that the original wate ent plant is scheduled to be
demolished. The Public Works Depa d looked at using the building as a
storage facility, but rehabilitatio d improvements were estimated at
approximately $55,000 and 0 de the installation of large roll-up doors on
the east side of the building. were in agreement that the Public Works
Department should cons. rnatives to demolition if possible and were
supportive of saving the site torage even if it required installing the roll-up
doors. Members also noted that if the site were landmarked, it would be eligible
for possible gra nding. Muth will report back to the Public Works Director and
get additional in ation.
. Muth reported that ,pm Corson had sent an email stating that the CLG grants
cannot be awarded until the Department of Interior budget is finalized and the
Stat nows exactly how much grant money they will have to distribute. The
20 ss adjourned without making the appropriation, so the State is
waiti e 2007 Congress to do so. Corson thought it might be March or later
before t rants can be awarded.
. Muth informed members that their meetings will be moved to the new first floor
meeting room in either January or February.
. Muth distributed copies of the Louisville Historical Society's Historian newsletter.

Items from Commission Members - None.

Discussion Items for Next Meeting - A discussion of how better to use or address the
subcommittees.

Adjourn - Meeting adjourned at 8:50 PM.
