Executive Director's Report - The City Council will approve the 2007 Budget at <br />its Tuesday, November 21 meeting. <br /> <br />IX. Museum Coordinator's Report <br />A. The City gave the museum a display case that will no longer be used in City <br />Hall. It has been placed in the Jordinelli House. <br />B. There may be a new display space in City Hall when the remodel is complete. <br />The area may be available for display items from the museum. <br />C. A potential donation of a hose nozzle believed to be from the old fire station is <br />being offered to the Fire Department. <br />D. Deeds of Gift <br />1. Photos of the Cassidy home and family, donated by Lucius Cassidy, Jr. <br />2. Property deeds from the Helburg family, donated by John Brugger <br />3. Small pressure cooker and vintage cards of needles, donated by Becky <br />Harney <br />4. A 1928-1930 United Mine Workers contract; blank daily report sheets from <br />mines operated by Rocky Mountain Fuel; and photos of Louisville sites, <br />donated by Gail Wetrogan <br />5. Pow Wow belt buckle donated by Lorraine Todd <br />E. All items were accepted as donations <br /> <br />X. Committee Reports <br />A. Jordinelli House <br />1. Fencing <br />a. An estimate by Brian Martella is $11,384.02 <br />b. Muth spoke with Land Management Staff again and noted that the <br />original fence measurement was incorrect and should be approximately <br />250 linear feet, not the original 400. Staff's estimate is still $25 a linear <br />foot. <br />c. Don Ross will continue to check into fencing at Lowe's, Home Depot <br />and other firms <br />2. The city will buy and install a new hot water heater for the Jacoe Store to <br />replace the existing one that no longer works <br />3. The estimate on a fire sprinkler system is still in progress <br />B. Holiday decorating of the museum and Miner's House will be on Saturday, <br />November 25,2006 at 9:00 a.m. <br />C. Education <br />1. Visitors <br />a. 246 in October, including school tours <br />b. 1,163 for the year <br />2. Tours - Superior Elementary School will tour on December 15th and 18th, <br />D. Events and Fundraising <br />1. The Parade of Lights is Friday, December 1, 2006 <br />a. Volunteers - Bob Enrietto, Diane Marino, Don Ross, Pat Seader, <br />Virginia Caranci, Aline Steinbaugh, Dave Ferguson and Bridget Bacon <br />should be at the museum at 5:30 p.m. <br />b. Elle Cabbage will order cookies <br />2. Holiday Home Tour <br />
