Open Space Advisory Board
Minutes
November 7, 2024
• David questions why we have two different versions of the trail
maps (paper maps and wayfinding maps). Increases maintenance
costs and complexity. Susan and Ember say it's due to the scale
of the signs and trying to make them clear and easy to read.
David pushes back and urges that the trail maps need to be
accurate and sufficient.
• Debate about whether the secondary red trail line should be solid
or dashed. No clear consensus or recommendation from OSAB.
• Different versions of maps should align as much as possible with
similar color coding, keys, etc. to the extent it makes sense. No
clear consensus or recommendation from OSAB.
• Discussion about whether to mark future trail connections on the
map or not. No clear consensus or recommendation from OSAB.
13. 9:20 pm Discussion Items for Next Meeting December 11th:
• Review 2024 OSAB Work Plan
• OSAB Mentors for Incoming Members
• Board Positions
• 2025 Tiger Teams
• Education & Volunteer Program Review
• Friends of Coal Creek- Pollinator Pathways Presentation by Corey Lyons
14.
