<br /> City Council <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> May 16, 2006 <br /> Page 12 of 12 <br />Director Phare stated the City has raw water storage at Harper Lake, the <br />Louisville Reservoir and at Marshall Lake. <br />Capital Project Update: Deputy City Manager reported on the swimming pool <br />projects at the Recreation Center. She also reported on the extensions to the <br />Davidson Mesa and Walnut Trails are almost complete. <br />City Manager Simmons reporting on the following: The grand opening of the <br />RTD pedestrian bridge is scheduled for June 8, at 10:00 a.m.; the City has filled <br />the position of Principal Planner; the new owners of the Baptist Church property <br />will meet with City Staff, and Louisville Municipal Judge Bruce Joss was <br />appointed to the Colorado Municipal Judges Association Board of Directors. <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Mayor Pro Tem Brown reported on the Business Retention Committee meeting <br />and that he and Council member Clabots have reviewed the Scholarship <br />applications. He raised the issue of expanding the scholarship to all Louisville's <br />graduating seniors who attend high schools other than Monarch High. <br />Council member Marsella reported on the success of the Youth Advisory Board <br />2006 Music Fest. She thanked the Recreation Staff for their assistance. <br />Mayor Sisk reported on the success of the Louisville Art Show Project, which <br />supports local artists. He encouraged Louisville citizens to view the artwork. <br />ADJOURN <br />Council member Brown moved for adjournment, seconded by Council member <br />Marsella.
