<br /> City Council <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> May 16, 2006 <br /> Page 11 of 12 <br />Mayor Sisk returned to the meeting. <br />RESOLUTION No. 20, SERIES 2006 - A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE <br />CIMMARON DRIVE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT (continued from <br />5/2/06) <br />The City of Lafayette requested the City of Louisville enter into an IGA for <br />Cimmaron Drive, which is a new public road proposed to serve the Eagle Place <br />Townhome development located in the City of Lafayette. Bonnie Starr, City of <br />Lafayette Community Development Department, reported the Lafayette City <br />Council approved the Cimmaron Drive IGA with the deletion of the second <br />sentence, in paragraph two of the agreement. <br />Mayor Sisk requested public comment. There were no comments. <br />MOTION: Mayor Pro Tem Brown moved to approve Resolution No. 20, Series, <br />2006, with the deletion of the second sentence, in paragraph two of the <br />agreement. Council member Marsella seconded the motion. The motion passed <br />by a vote of 6-1. Council member Sackett voted no. <br />LIBRARY UPDATE <br />Deputy City Manager Boyd updated Council on the progress of the new library, <br />which is on schedule with a substantial completion date of June 16,2006. <br />Estimates will be received on the reconstruction of the alley from Walnut to <br />Spruce Street. The library will be closed from June 30 to July 27. The grand <br />opening and dedication will be August 19, from 11 :00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. At the <br />June 6 City Council meeting, Architectural Energy Corporation will report on the <br />feasibility study for the photovoltaic lighting system at the library. <br />Mayor Sisk reported the new owners of the present library building requested <br />changes to the building. The Planning Commission approved their requests. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />City Attorney Durfee thanked Council for the warm welcome and stated she looks <br />forward to working with the City Council. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />City Manager Simmons requested a report on the City's raw water supply. Public <br />Works Director Phare reported the City's raw water supply is 4,800 acre-feet <br />Council member Muckle asked for the City's storage capacity. Public Works <br />
