He stated the <br />photovoltaic proposal might not be ready for a Council decision at this time. He <br />asked if a photovoltaic system could be added at a later time. Mr. Johnston <br />confirmed it could. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Brown suggested the Council continue to research other energy <br />alternatives. <br />Council member Marsella voiced her concern of losing the warranty on the library <br />roof, and suggested a photovoltaic system be considered for the City Hall. <br />Mayor Sisk requested public comment. <br />Doug Grinbergs, 530 S. Sycamore Circle, Louisville, CO urged Council to <br />consider creative ways to pursue energy efficient systems. He inquired whether <br />it would be feasible for the Council to form another entity or district, which could <br />lease energy equipment from companies such as Sun Edison. <br />Mayor Sisk suggested the City confer with the contractor and project manager to <br />determine if the warranty of the roof would cover other energy alternatives. <br />There was Council consensus that other alternative energy efficient measures <br />should be investigated. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1494, SERIES 2006 - AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE <br />CONVEYANCE BY QUIT CLAIM DEED OF PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY <br />AT MAMMOTH RESERVOIR, GILPIN COUNTY, STATE OF COLORADO - 2nd <br />reading - public hearing (advertised Daily Camera 6/13/06) <br />Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. <br />City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1494, Series 2006. He explained due to <br />a publication notice problem, City Staff has requested continuing this matter to <br />July 5, 2006 City Council meeting. <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved to continue Ordinance No. 1494, Series 2006, to <br />July 5, 2006, seconded by Council member Clabots. All in favor. <br />ORDINANCE No. 1495, SERIES 2006 -AN ORDINANCE VACATING THE <br />CITY'S INTEREST IN A 20' INGRESSIEGRESS EASEMENT LOCATED ON <br />LOT 2 OF THE THIRD REPLA T OF THE COAL CREEK MEMORIAL <br />SUBDIVISION - 1st reading - set public hearing 7/5/06 <br />Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. <br />City Attorney Light read Ordinance NO.1495, Series 2006. <br />
