<br /> City Council <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> November a, 2006 <br /> Page 12 of 13 <br /> ORDINANCE No. 1503, SERIES 2006 -AN ORDINANCE ENACTING A NEW <br /> CHAPTER 13.37 OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE <br /> REGARDING THE CITY'S STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PROGRAM AND <br /> STORMWATER UTILITY FEES - 1st reading - set public hearing 11/21/06 <br /> Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. <br /> City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1503, Series 2006. <br /> Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br /> Public Works Director Tom Phare updated Council on the projected stormwater <br /> utility fees. Based upon a monthly fee of $2.00 per single family home and a <br /> proportionate rate for other properties it is projected annual storm water utility <br /> revenue would be $300,000 per year. Annual operating expenses for 2007 are <br /> budgeted at $100,000 and expected to grow to $150,000 to $200,000 per year <br /> over the next three to five years. <br /> MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved to send Ordinance No. 1503, Series 2006 out for <br /> publication and set a public hearing for November 21,2006, seconded by <br /> Council member Marsella. All in favor. <br /> LIBRARY UPDATE <br /> Simmons reported the punch list of items to be completed has been significantly <br /> reduced. He updated Council on other Library issues. <br /> CITY HALL REMODEL UPDATE <br /> Simmons reported the City Hall remodel is fifty percent complete. He reported <br /> on the items still needing completion. The HVAC system installation and the <br /> telephone switch is scheduled for Friday, November 10. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> City Attorney Light updated Council on the Hamon Litigation matter. A hearing is <br /> scheduled in December and mediation in January. He also presented each <br /> Council member with a current litigation report. <br /> CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br /> City Manager Simmons reminded the Council of upcoming meetings: <br /> . November 10 - Water Committee Meeting at Recreation Center <br /> . November 16 - Louisville Revitalization Commission <br />
