Kimley»>Horn
Deliverables
• Drainage Report (60%, 90%, Final, Bid)
Page 11
Task 2.D Irrigation Ditch Realignment
Kimley-Horn will prepare design calculations for the realignment of the open channel irrigation ditch along
the east side of CO-42. This will consist of coordination with Boulder County, comprehensive design
calculations alongside detailed construction documents. Kimley-Horn will finalize key alignments and
hydraulic calculations, ensuring an efficient flow and optimal performance. This stage will also encompass
a thorough assessment of environmental impacts and necessary regulatory compliance that will be
completed the environmental team as part of Task 4.
Kimley-Horn will refine these calculations in the 90% design phase, integrating relevant construction details
and specifications. The construction documents will provide clear guidelines for the execution of the
realignment.
Additionally, Kimley-Horn will prepare SWMP plans for the ditch realignment which will consist of initial,
interim, and final conditions along with a report on revegetation and seeding specifications.
See Task 4.A.1, Design Review, for submittal and review details.
Deliverables
• Construction Documents (60%, 90%, Final, Bid Set)
• SWMP Plans and Report (60%, 90%, Final, Bid Set)
Task 3 Framework and Conceptual Design
Kimley-Horn, RE:Land, and Otakwill complete an alternatives analysis to determine the preferred alignment
and associated improvements of the pedestrian underpass for up to three (3) alternatives. These
alternatives will be prepared to provide the desired grade -separated pedestrian crossing of C042 while
maintaining an access to the Delo subdivision from C042 south of Short Street, making use of the privately
owned parcel north of South St. The team will consider previously completed analysis and design
considerations to inform the Alternatives Analysis.
Task 3.A Framework (15%) Plans
Based on the City's goals, requirements, and criteria, The Team will complete a Conceptual Sketch Plan
to study circulation and scope extents for up to three (3) alternatives. The Team will meet with the City to
review and select up to two (2) alternatives to be advanced to Framework (15%) Plans for review and
selection with the City and for stakeholder approval. The Framework (15%) Plans are anticipated to consist
of the following:
• Site Programming + Land Use Areas Development;
• Land Use + Open Space Metrics;
• Preliminary Circulation + Parking Development;
• Preliminary Walls, Hardscape Materials + Planting Zones Diagram; and
• Preliminary Plan Overview Report.
Order of magnitude costs will be considered at the Framework Plan level. A detailed Engineer's Opinion of
Probable Construction Costs (EOPCC) will not be prepared at the Framework Plan level.
kimley-horn.com
11800 Ridge Parkway, Suite 200, Broomfield, CO 80021
303 228 2300
