b. Event Manaqement Services. The BID shall provide the following <br />management services for the Event (collectively, the "Management Services"): <br />i. Provide all operational staff and be exclusively responsible for the <br />management of such personnel and the payment of all wages and withholdings in <br />connection therewith. The BID shall provide site -specific training to all staff <br />members with a focus on providing excellent customer service. <br />ii. Manage all concession activities, including obtaining all necessary <br />licenses and permits and providing all concession merchandise and supplies. The <br />City Representative shall provide a full list of all such licenses and permits within <br />two days of the execution of this Agreement. The cost of licenses and permits shall <br />be borne by the City. Any City licenses and permits shall be promptly issued upon <br />request. <br />iii. Maintain all ice surfaces and keep the same reasonably free from <br />snow and debris; keep all walkways within the Premises reasonably free from ice <br />and snow; and keep all outdoor areas within the Premises free from trash and <br />debris. The BID shall immediately notify the City in the event that the BID has <br />actual knowledge that repairs are required to any City -owned or leased building, <br />equipment, or area. <br />iv. Manage ice rink rentals by private parties and leagues for use of the <br />ice rink outside of the hours of operation for the open public skate established <br />pursuant to Section 3.c.ii. Private leagues may include one or more broomball <br />teams. <br />V. Except as provided in Section 15, be solely responsible for payment <br />of all applicable taxes and obtain and keep in force all applicable permits and <br />approvals. The BID agrees to pay all performing rights licensing fees to BMI, <br />ASCAP, or other performing rights organizations for performances held pursuant <br />to this Agreement at the rate specified by such licensing organizations. The City <br />holds no responsibility for these payments. <br />vi. If the BID has actual knowledge of potential violations of City <br />ordinances, rules, or regulations at the Premises during the Event, the BID will <br />inform the Louisville Police Department to request that they be followed and <br />enforced. <br />vii. The BID may contract with one or more persons or entities selected <br />by the BID to perform all or portions of the Management Services. The BID will be <br />solely responsible for all contracting, supervisory, and administrative matters <br />related to execution and administration of said contract or contracts. The City <br />will not directly work with or supervise the contractor or contractors selected <br />by the BID. <br />04 <br />
