<br /> EXHIBIT" A" <br /> LOUISVILLE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT <br /> MINIMUM PERFORMANCE STANDARDS <br />1. The Louisville Fire Protection District shall provide high quality service in <br />the form of both personnel and equipment. All Fire District line personnel shall <br />participate in a continual progressive training program administered to prepare <br />individuals and crews to mitigate emergency situations in a safe and professional manner. <br />All personnel shall maintain certifications commensurate to their work assignment. <br />2. The Louisville Fire Protection District shall staff fire stations and <br />apparatus at a level capable to meet the normal fire and medical emergency demands <br />within the Fire District coverage area. <br />3. An eight (8) minute average response time to the scene of an emergency <br />by the first responding apparatus shall be established as the standard for emergency <br />response alarms. This time objective shall exclude the dispatch time. In the event of <br />inclement weather, system overload, disaster situation, or any valid circumstances, the <br />response time standard shall be exempt from the established standards. <br />4. Louisville Fire Protec:tion District personnel shall maintain training levels <br />and certification commensurate to the emergency alarms they are assigned. This training <br />level shall include, but may not be limited to, fire suppression, emergency medical care, <br />hazardous material, and special rescue operations. <br /> ". - <br /> 9 <br />
