im I City,/ R <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO .SINCE 1882 <br />Louisville Sustainability Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes: Wednesday, J my 20, 2011 <br />City Hall, 749 Main Street, Spruce Room <br />Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Chair Ted Sontrop (filling in for Mary <br />Ann Heaney) at 18:32. Minutes were taken by Mary Ann Heaney. <br />II. Roll Call: Members present (in bold): Cullen Choi, Mary Ann Heaney, Annie Hughes, <br />Andy Johnson, Arno Laesecke, Mark Persichetti; Ted Sontrop; Staff Liaison Dave <br />Szwabados (filling in for Tom Phare); City Council Liaison Dave Clabots.. <br />III. Approval of Current Meeting's Agenda: The agenda was unanimously approved. <br />IV. Approval of J une 15 Meeting Minutes: The minutes were unanimously approved with <br />changes: <br />Correct the following sentence in the section on Livable Cities Action Plan to: "Cullen <br />offered to insert the presentation into new software, which will creates a better <br />presentation." <br />V. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: None. <br />VI. LSAB Statement in s upport /endorsement of the Boulder County's Zero- <br />Waste Plan (Mark Persichetti) This is a follow up discussion based on information <br />Mark provided in a detailed summary of the purpose and activities of the Boulder <br />County Resource Conservation Advisory Board, which outlined the County's Zero <br />Waste Plan. Comments included: Annie expressed comment that the City of Louisville <br />is already doing so much of the Zero -Waste Plan; Andy thinks the plan is a good thing to <br />adopt even if the City is doing much of the Plan items on their own; Mark stressed that <br />time is running out to make changes to the Plan that would highlight areas for Louisville <br />to do more work, and we need to send over the endorsement of Plan by LSAB very <br />soon; Mark also indicated that he wants to provide a link to the Plan for City Council <br />members, and he requested that we give our endorsement for the Plan. There was <br />unanimous approval for LSAB's endorsement of the plan. <br />VII. Contribution to Community Update <br />Andy provided the text in support of the Tour of Sustainable Homes for the upcoming <br />Community Update to Meredyth Muth. She confirmed its receipt, and did not have any <br />issues with it. Next submission of text to the Community Update will be November 15th. <br />VIII.
