Sycamore Place, Louisville, CO voiced his support of <br />the ordinance and his appreciation for Eco-cycle and the Louisville Resource <br />Conservation Advisory Board for their work. <br /> <br />Ann Hughes, 1405 Garfield Court, Louisville, CO voiced her support of the <br />ordinance. She stated she would like to see existing business also recycle. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENT <br /> <br />Council member Muckle askE!d if the ordinance could consider recycling for <br />existing businesses. Mr. Persichetti stated at this time, the Louisville Resource <br />Conservation Advisory Board is requesting this apply to new construction only. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk thanked the Resource Conservation Advisory Board and Eco-cycle <br />for their collaboration. He requested public comment and hearing none, closed <br />the public hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION: Council member Clabots moved to approve Ordinance No. 1508, <br />Series 2007, with the deletion of the last sentence in Section D "Exception may <br />be granted by the City Mana~Jer or a designee thereof for existing buildings <br />where this provision will negatively impact parking stall requirements." Council <br />member Muckle seconded the motion. Roll call vote was taken. The motion <br />carried by a vote of 7-0. All in favor. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION - US 36 TRANSPORTATION MOBILITY <br />ORGANIZA T'ION UPDATE ON RTD 96L ROUTE <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Tim Swope with Boulder County, and Audrey Debarros with the US 36 TMO <br />presented the proposal for the new 96L transit service. <br /> <br />Mr. Swope explained the new transit service for Boulder County is proposed from <br />US 36 to the Town of Erie. The service will connect the Broomfield Park-n-Ride, <br />Flatirons Park-n-Ride, Monarch School and Avista Hospital, Downtown Louisville <br />and the Planned Erie Community Center. <br /> <br />Ms. Debarros outlined the project timeline: January to April - public process; May <br />to December - Route Planning; January 2008 - Start Service. She explained <br />public involvement began with a Citizen Advisory Group meeting on January 25. <br />The next meting will be February 21, at the Louisville Public Library, from 5:30 <br />p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Three additional meetings are planned between February and <br />April as a follow-up for the Citizen Advisory Group, which will identify service, <br />routing and marketing. <br />
