<br />City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />April 17, 2007 <br />Page 10 of 10 <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Human Resource Manager H1ix reported the City Council directed staff to <br />proceed with a Request for Proposal (RFP) to obtain a financial and <br />organizational assessment for the City of Louisville. Interim City Manager Balser <br />and Human Resources Manager Hix worked on the project. <br /> <br />Seven consulting companies were contacted and sent a copy of the RFP. <br />Proposals were due on Monday, April 2, 2007. The City received two proposals <br />on time and one late proposal on April 3, 2007. The two proposals were from <br />R.S. Wells LLC and Prothman. Staff reviewed the submittals and contacted each <br />firm to clarify information in the proposals. Staff recommended Prothman based <br />on the components of their proposal. Prothman will be working with City Council <br />on the City Manager recruitment and may be able to work on both projects <br />simultaneously thus saving 011 some of the travel expenses. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved to award bid for Strategic Financial and <br />Operational Assessment to Protham with a cap of $32,000, seconded by Council <br />member Marsella. Roll call vote was taken. The motion carried by a vote of 6-0. <br />Absent: Mayor Pro Tern Brown. <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />City Attorney Light will forward a litigation report to City Council. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />Council member Sackett moved for adjournment, seconded by Council member <br />Clabots.
