<br />City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />April 17, 2007 <br />Page 9 of 10 <br /> <br />Mr. Brew noted the Developer intends to use the annexation to transfer density <br />within the properties and through the PUD process the densities would be <br />established. He addressed the question of the dedication and supported 15%. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested public comment. There were no comments. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE No. 1516, SE:RIES 2007 - AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN <br />ANNEXATION, KNOWN AS THE TAKODA VILLAGE ANNEXATION TO THE <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO - 2nd Reading - Public Hearing <br /> <br />MOTION: Council member Muckle moved to continue the second reading of <br />Ordinance No. 1516, Series 2:007, to May 15, 2007, seconded by Council <br />member Clabots. Roll call vote was taken. The motion carried by a vote of 5-1. <br />Council member Marsella votled no. Absent: Mayor Pro Tem Brown. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE No. 151jr, SERIES 2007 - AN ORDINANCE ZONING <br />PROPERTY ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE AND KNOWN AS THE <br />TAKODA VILLAGE ANNEXATION - 2nd Reading <br /> <br />MOTION: Council member Muckle moved to continue the seconded reading of <br />Ordinance No. 1517, Series 2~007, to May 15, 2007, seconded by Council <br />member Yarnell. Roll call vote was taken. The motion carried by a vote of 5-1. <br />Council member Marsella votled no. Absent: Mayor Pro Tem Brown. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk asked the Council to give direction to the developer on the transfer of <br />density. He noted there would not be any land dedication on commercial. <br /> <br />Council member Yarnell asked how the transfer of densities could be <br />accomplished with out changing the entitlements on the property. City Attorney <br />Light explained through a PUD Amendment. <br /> <br />APRIL ECONOMIC DEVE.LOPMENT BRIEFING - BECKY HOGAN, EDge <br />CONSULTING <br /> <br />Becky Hogan, EDge Consulting, 56 Steele Street, Denver, CO updated Council <br />on April's economic development activities. A Business Assistance request was <br />presented at the April 4 City Council meeting. Interim City Manager Balser and <br />Hogan attended the Boulder County Commercial Broker's Luncheon where an <br />overview of economic develolPment was presented. BRaD hosted their second <br />Round Table Discussion focusing on office, industrial and mixed use space.
