Approval of Cancellation of June 26 City Council Study <br />Session <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Brian Hawkins, 408 Fillmore Court, Louisville, CO addressed the on going issue <br />of traffic and speeding on Pollk and Dahlia Streets in Louisville. He asked <br />Council to consider traffic control alternatives. <br /> <br />Steven Williams, 641 W. Dahllia, Louisville, CO expressed his concern over the <br />amount of traffic and the speE~d of vehicles on Dahlia and Polk Streets. <br /> <br />Stephen Whiteman, 629 W. Dahlia, Louisville, CO voiced his concern over the <br />volume of traffic, vehicle spee~d and the safety of the streets and intersections at <br />Dahlia and Polk Streets. He urged Council to consider traffic alternatives. <br /> <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONJl~L COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br />THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tem Brown voiced his appreciation to the residents who brought forth <br />their concerns on traffic issues on W. Dahlia and Polk Streets. He stated over <br />the years there has been disc:ussion on various solutions for the area. He <br />reported on the season's first Street Faire and noted there were some glitches, <br />but everything worked out and the event was very well attended. He noted the <br />City Council Chambers has had new cameras, an overhead projection camera, <br />and new furniture and fixtures installed. <br /> <br />Council member Sackett addressed the concerns expressed by the W. Dahlia <br />residents. He requested the Staff review the situation, meet with the residents <br />and make a recommendation to Council. <br />
