Approve the October 11th Study Session as a Special Meeting <br /> Councilor Muckle arrived to the meeting at 7:04 p.m. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> Alan Sobel, 1408 Kennedy Avenue, Louisville, CO continued the filibuster he began on <br /> April 6, 2010, which addresses the activities of Louisville City officials with respect to the <br /> cable television. It was his perception that City officials have refused to inform Louisville <br /> residents of their rights under the Cable Bill of Rights, are in collusion with the cable <br /> television provider and are silent when presented with documentary evidence of a <br /> cover-up. He felt public officials should represent the voters who elected them and <br /> stated this is not the case in Louisville with respect to cable television. He stated he <br /> • would stand in witness to the City Council's disrespect for their offices, the political <br /> process in the City, the Country and for their constituents, the residents of Louisville, <br /> Colorado. <br /> COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br /> AGENDA <br /> Mayor Pro Tern Marsella thanked City Council for approving Consent Agenda 4E — <br /> Authorizing an expenditure of $13,384 to the Louisville Housing Authority for the <br /> installation of an ice melt system at Lydia Morgan. She noted the building entrance on <br /> the North side is icy during the wintertime creating a hazard for the residents. The ice <br /> melt system will correct a dangerous situation. <br /> Mayor Sisk reported he attended the Senior Advisory Board meeting today. The Board <br /> members thanked the City Council for their support and expressed their appreciation to <br /> Councilor Clabots, the City Council liaison to the Senior Advisory Board, whose term <br /> ends in November. <br /> CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br /> Deputy City Manager Balser reported Pine Street Railroad Crossing will be closed on <br /> Wednesday, September 21, 2011 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Information is available <br /> • on the City's Web site. She stated at an October meeting, Council will be presented <br />
