City Council <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> September 20, 2011 <br /> • Page 3 of 14 <br /> with a clarifying ordinance, which authorizes the City Manager to set all the fees for all <br /> goods and services provided by the City that are not set by Resolution. <br /> Economic Development Director Star explained the fees in question were not in the <br /> municipal code, but were routinely set by Staff, such as room rentals, golf course fees, <br /> recreation center program fees, etc. It was decided it would be appropriate for the City <br /> Manager to set these types of fees. <br /> Mayor Sisk reported on the Thursday, September 15th dinner meeting with the Boulder <br /> Valley School District Board of Directors and the Principals of Louisville Schools. They <br /> were introduced to the new superintendent, Dr. Bruce Messinger. He also reported on <br /> attending a very moving ceremony in remembrance of September 11th, conducted by <br /> the Louisville Fire Protection District at their Main Street Fire Station. <br /> REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> 2011 LIFE IN LOUISVILLE PHOTO CONTEST— PRESENTATION OF AWARDS <br /> Mayor Sisk requested Councilor Yarnell present the awards to the recipients. <br /> Councilor Yarnell announced the winners for the 2011 Life in Louisville Photo Contest. <br /> • The winning photos were unique to Louisville and represented the history, community, <br /> and sense of place, which make Louisville such a wonderful place to live.
