Local Licensing Authority <br /> Minutes <br /> May 23, 2011 <br /> Page 6 of 7 <br /> 111 Stephen Caplan, one of the managers of Compassionate Pain Management, took the <br /> oath and stated the center was a holistic healing center which happened to be a <br /> medical marijuana center. He explained the center is very entrenched socially and <br /> economically within the community. <br /> Chairperson Gunning asked if anyone else wanted to speak for or against the <br /> application. Hearing no comments, he asked the applicant for final comments. <br /> Mr. Gindi stated it was a pleasure to work with everyone in Louisville and he was glad to <br /> have his business here. <br /> Gunning closed the public hearing. <br /> Rommelfanger moved the Local Licensing Authority of the City of Louisville find the <br /> applicant is of good moral character, all City and State law requirements have been met <br /> and, based on these findings, the Local Licensing Authority approve issuance of a <br /> medical marijuana center license for Compassionate Pain Management, LLC d/b/a <br /> Compassionate Pain Management. Lipton seconded. Roll Call Vote: Lipton - yes, <br /> Machado — abstain, Rommelfanger— yes, Gunning — yes and Carlson — yes. License <br /> approved. <br /> F. Transfer Application — SJ, Inc. & 7-Eleven, Inc. d/b/a 7-Eleven Store 27. 728A <br /> • — 3.2% Beer Off Premises License — 300 S. McCaslin Blvd. <br /> This transfer is for a franchisee to take over in this location. <br /> Machado moved the Authority approve the transfer of SJ, Inc. & 7-Eleven, Inc. d/b/a 7- <br /> Eleven Store 27728A — 3.2% Beer Off Premises License. Modification of Premises/Change of Trade Name The Alley Cat Bar, LLC <br /> d/b/a The Louisville Rex — Hotel and Restaurant Liquor License — 817 Main <br /> St. <br /> This modification is to add an outdoor upper deck patio and tables on the sidewalk in <br /> front. The applicant is also going back to the name The Louisville Rex, the name the <br /> building carried when it was a theater. <br /> Carlson moved the Authority approve the modification of premises and trade name <br /> change for The Alley Cat Bar, LLC d/b/a The Louisville Rex.
