Local Licensing Authority <br /> Minutes <br /> May 23, 2011 <br /> Page 7 of 7 <br /> This application was for a tastings permit for the new liquor store on Main Street. The <br /> • owners and employees attended the seller/server training over the weekend. The <br /> Authority if the tastings would be inside the store and it was confirmed they would be <br /> held inside the store. <br /> Carlson moved the Authority approve the tastings permit for In Season Local Market. <br /> Lipton seconded. Roll Call Vote: Machado — yes, Rommelfanger—yes, Lipton — yes, <br /> Carlson — yes and Gunning — yes. <br /> Police Department Reports <br /> No reports. <br /> Secretary's Report <br /> Hanson thanked the police department for providing special seller/server training for the <br /> Street Faire volunteers and the employees at Ralphie's. She reported there was to be a <br /> report on an administrative issuance of a Special Events Permit, but the permit was <br /> withdrawn. She stated Augustina's Winery had submitted notice they would be at the <br /> Farmer's Market and would be conducting tastings there. <br /> Authority Attorney's Report <br /> • No report. <br /> Authority Comment <br /> Carlson gave a legislative update. Senate Bill 60 which would allow Hotel and <br /> Restaurant licenses to sell 3.2% beer and Brew Pubs to brew and sell has passed. <br /> Senate Bill 273 has passed which licenses areas holding large events. <br /> Adjourn — Carlson moved to adjourn. Lipton seconded. All in favor. The meeting was <br /> adjourned at 8:45 p.m. <br /> Robert Gunning, Chairper on <br /> Carol Hanson, Deputy City Clerk <br /> • <br />
