COUNCIL COMMUNICATION <br />TO: <br />FROM: <br />MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL <br />MALCOLM FLEMING <br />CITY MANAGER <br />DATE: DECEMBER 19, 2011 <br />SUBJECT: NON - PROFIT FUNDING REQUESTS FOR 2012 <br />ORIGINATING <br />DEPARTMENT: FINANCE <br />SUMMARY: <br />The 2012 adopted budget contains $20,000 for grants /contributions to non - profit agencies. <br />The City's non - profit grant program was suspended in 2010 and 2011 due to budgetary <br />constraints. <br />Below is schedule of grants from the City of Louisville to non - profit agencies from 2005 through <br />2009. The final column contains the requests for funding received for 2012. Staff will distribute <br />the actual requests during the meeting and hopes to record the Committee's final <br />recommendations at the January meeting.
