These proposed amendments are requested to formally adopt <br />adjustments to the current 2011 appropriations for items that were not anticipated, or were not <br />measureable, at the time the original 2011 budget was adopted.These adjustments total an <br />additional $72,730 for all funds. <br />A public hearing is required to amend the budget. Notice of public hearing was published as <br />required by law on Friday, December 16, 2011. <br />The budget amendment is shown by line item detail and subtotaled by fund in Appendix A to <br />the Resolution. Below is a brief narrative for each line item or set of line items. <br />010-171-53100-03 Professional Services – Consulting (+$30,000) <br />This amendment is to appropriate funds for the agreement with Peckham & McKenney, <br />approved by Council on August 2, 2011. This agreement was for Human Resources <br />Recruitment Services for the Public Works Director position. <br />042-499-44310-45 McCaslin Interchange Modeling Study (+$15,000) <br />This amendment is to increase funding for the McCaslin Interchange Modeling Study. This is a <br />joint study funded by the City of Louisville and the Town of Superior.
