<br />Louisville City Council Meeting <br />January 18, 2005 <br />Page 10 of 11 <br /> <br />Deputy City Manager Julie Boyd reported on the Louisville Public Library project. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Tom Phare reported on the Highway 42/96th Street Connection. <br /> <br />Land Management Director Cindy Lair reported on the Skateboard Park; the bid opening <br />for the Community Park; the Callahan and the Davidson Mesa Trail. <br /> <br />City Manager Simmons reported on the agenda for the January 25,2005 Study Session <br />with the Planning Commission will center on the Citywide Comprehensive Plan. Given <br />the nature of the discussions, he requested the meeting be conducted as a Special <br />Meeting, at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved that the January 25,2005 Study Session be conducted as <br />a Special Meeting and commence at 6:30 p.m., seconded by Council member Levihn. <br />All in favor. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Council member Keany reported the Youth Advisory Board has invited the Council to <br />join them for dinner before their joint meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk reported the Louisville Fire Protection District has invited Council to attend a <br />joint meeting in February at Fire Station 2. He also reported that Avista hospital has <br />received a grant for technology. He met with the City's IT Staff, and Finance Director <br />Patty Leslie will apply for a technology grant. Mayor Sisk will represent Council and the <br />Mayor's along the Turnpike in Washington, D.C. in meetings with Senators Salazar and <br />Allard. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br /> <br />Council member Brown moved for adjournment (10:35 p.m.), seconded by <br />ber Levihn.
