Planning <br />Director responded yes. <br /> <br />MOTION: Council member Brown moved for Council approval of an amendment to <br />EDA W Contract for Professional Services and Scope of Work, seconded by Council <br />member Marsella. Roll call vote was taken. The motion passed by a vote of7-0. <br /> <br />Planning Director Wood distributed copies of the latest draft of the citywide <br />Comprehensive Development Plan. He noted there were inclusions of support from <br />several businesses. <br /> <br />Council member VanPelt asked if there were substantial changes from the previous draft. <br />Wood stated there were minor revisions and additional information at the end of chapter <br />three. <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />No report. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br /> <br />City Manager Bill Simmons requested Staffreports: <br /> <br />Meredyth Muth reported that Louisville, Lafayette, and Boulder County are the recipients <br />of a $50,000 State Historical Fund Grant for Hamey- Lastoka Property: The grant allows <br />for first phase of rehabilitation of buildings on the property. The Cities of Louisville and <br />Lafayette will contribute $10,000 each, and Boulder County will contribute $20,000 for a <br />total of $90,000 for the project. <br /> <br />City Manager Simmons requested Public Works Director Tom Phare report on the <br />February 9,2005 Street Reconstruction Meeting. He informed Council that he would not <br />be involved in those discussions because he is a resident in one of the neighborhoods, <br />which is involved in the reconstruction process. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Tom Phare reported on the 2005 Street Reconstruction Meeting of <br />February 9,2005, where discussions were had relative to reconstruction of the following <br />streets: Front, Roosevelt, Main, Parkview, Elm, and Bella Vista. In addition to street <br />reconstruction, sidewalks, curbs and gutters, and the underground utilities will be <br />evaluated. He noted there were citizen requests to replace existing street lights along <br />Main Street and for the closure of Front Street. <br /> <br />Assistant City Manager for Governmental Relations Heather Balser reported on <br />McCaslin Interchange Phase I Improvements. The bid opening for the proj ect is <br />scheduled for March 9. The Town of Superior will convene a meeting of the McCaslin <br />Interchange Committee to review the bids on March 10.
