<br />City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />July 5, 2005 <br />Page 7 of 13 <br /> <br />that Council remember the draft plan includes all the public comments from the <br />Planning Commission's public hearings. <br /> <br />Eva Kosinski, 1301 Jackson Court, Louisville, CO noted that Mr. Marsella works <br />for RTD and has a vested interest in transit oriented developments. She stated if <br />the language of the Comprehensive Plan is to be of a regulatory nature, the Plan <br />should be a ballot question for the voter's to decide. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk summarized the public comment on Areas #4 #5 #6 and 7. He <br />explained the fiscal portion of the plan will be discussed on July 12. The <br />Comprehensive Plan will also be discussed at the regular meeting on July 19. <br /> <br />Council member Keany asked if there was discussion on changing the land use <br />in Area #2. Planning Director Wood stated the Newbold's requested a land use <br />change on the intersection of South Boulder Road and Main Street. He noted it <br />would be a use by Special Review. <br /> <br />Council member Van Pelt requested that Mr. Leary summarize his financial <br />analysis for Council before the July 12 Special Meeting. Mr. Leary stated he <br />would be out of town for the July 12 Special meeting, but would work with Staff to <br />have his analysis presented to Council. <br /> <br />Council member Brown asked Planning Director Wood about Area #7, with <br />respect to housing units, and how that provided new housing options. <br />Planning Director Wood stated Area #7 reflects transition to adjacent County <br />lands. <br /> <br />Council member Brown asked if Louisville currently has regional retail. Planning <br />Director Wood responded no. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk asked Mr. Hansen how many homes he proposes for the east side of <br />McCaslin. Mr. Hansen proposes 42-58 housing units on 11.4 acres. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk asked if Mr. Hansen is suggesting that the homes on those lots would <br />be for empty nesters, and for what the homes would sell for. Mr. Hansen <br />confirmed the homes are proposed for empty nesters and would start in the <br />$400,000 range. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk asked if there are opportunities for transit. Hansen responded yes. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk asked Tom Davidson to clarify his statement with respect to the <br />Industrial zoning for adult oriented purposes. He voiced his understanding that <br />adult oriented businesses could only be located on the CTC property. <br />
