The architect must be licensed in the State of Colorado <br />and familiar with the U.S. Secretary of the Interiors Standards for the T Properties. <br />Previous experience with the preservation, rehabilitation, resto reconstruction of historic <br />structures is desired. <br />Social History <br />This house was built for Charles and Amelia-Niehoff in the 1870s. Charles was a mine engineer for the <br />Welch Mine in Louisville, Colorado. Charles and Amelia had a da <br />married William Austin in 1889. William was a coal miner in Lou <br />house until the early 1960s (William passed away in 1935). <br />The structure has been used for office purposes since the 1980s <br /> <br /> <br />
