<br />Horticulture & Forestry <br />Advisory Board <br />Minutes <br />Thursday, January 5, 2012 <br />City Hall, Spruce Room <br />749 Main Street <br /> 7:00 <br />PM <br />I.Call to Order--Chair Mike Frontczak called the meeting to order at 7:08 pm. <br />II.Roll Call—Board members present: Shelley Alm, Mike Frontczak, Meredith Preston- <br />Eddy, Matt Tepe, Ellen Toon, Beverly White (new member). Board members absent: <br />Kimberly Heestand, Theresa Rounds. Staff members present: Chris Lichty, Joe <br />Stevens. City Council member present: Susan Loo. Guests: Mary Ann Heaney of the <br />Louisville Sustainability Advisory Board, Zane Eddy of the Louisville Youth Advisory <br />Board. <br />III.The agenda was approved by all members. <br />IV.The minutes from the December 1, 2011 meeting were approved. <br />V.Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda—No public present. Follow-up to <br />discussion of GMO issues at December meeting: Discussion by this Board will be <br />deferred to a later date, as the issue does not directly impact the City of Louisville at <br />this time. (Joe commented that Open Space Advisory would probably be the board <br />most likely to engage Boulder County in a GMO discussion at a later date.) Discussion <br />of possible future uses of the Harney Lastoka area, and how City concerns could be <br />addressed.
