The <br />primary issue is there are four (4) existing public parking lots in Downtown <br />Louisville which remain under utilized during summer events and on weekends. <br />Staff was tasked with the following initiatives: <br />• Observe existing conditions <br />• Determine why people can't find existing off-street parking areas such as <br />the library or the Pine Street parking lot? <br />• Establish what steps are needed to undertake to solve this parking <br />problem <br />• Direction <br />The attached presentation addresses the above initiatives of Downtown Parking <br />Wayfinding and provides suggestions as to how the wayfinding program may be <br />improved. <br />Staff is requesting BRaD to consider if a wayfinding program is needed for other <br />areas of the City, such as McCaslin Blvd., Centennial Valley, etc. <br />G:IADMINIBONNIE12012 BRaD Meetings\March 20121VI A BRaD_Memo_022912.docx <br />
