COLORADO; AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS OF SUCH CODE; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF CERTAIN ORDINANCES NOT INCLUDED 1N THE CODE; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION OF THE CODE; PROVIDING FOR THE MANNER OF AMENDING THE CODE; AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE - 2na reading - public hearing (advertised Daily Camera 10/21/00) Davidson called for City Attorney introduction. City Attorney Sam Light read Ordinance No. 1348, Series 2000. Heather Balser, Assistant to the City Administrator, reviewed the revision and the adoption of the new Louisville Municipal Code. Balser noted that Section 9.60.010 has been further revised since the 1st reading on October 17, 2000, per the request of the Library Director. At the first reading Section 9.60.010 provided only a fine for failure to return library material, not to exceed the replacement cost. Further revision includes additional costs to cover labor and materials associated with replacement of lost items. Davidson opened the public heating and asked if anyone in the audience wished to speak in favor or against Ordinance No. 1348, Series 2000. Hearing none, Davidson closed the public hearing. Mayer noted a correction, on page 3, the 6th paragraph, the 5th sentence, a typographical error, the word "change" should be "charge." MOTION: Mayer moved that Council approve Ordinance No. 1348, Series 2000, seconded by Keany. Roll call vote was taken. The motion passed by a vote of 7-0. ORDINANCE NO. 1349, SERIES 2000 - AN ORDINANCE INCREASING WATER RATES IN THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO - 1st reading - set public hearing 11/21/00 Davidson called for City Attorney introduction. City Attorney Sam Light read Ordinance No. 1349, Series 2000. MOTION: Mayer moved that Ordinance No. 1349, Series 2000 be set out for publication and a public hearing be set for November 21, 2000, seconded by Keany. All in favor. 12
