Louisville City Council Meeting <br />November 8, 2000 <br />Page 12. <br /> <br />COLORADO; AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS OF SUCH CODE; <br />PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF CERTAIN ORDINANCES NOT <br />INCLUDED 1N THE CODE; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION <br />OF THE CODE; PROVIDING FOR THE MANNER OF AMENDING THE <br />CODE; AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME <br />EFFECTIVE - 2na reading - public hearing (advertised Daily Camera 10/21/00) <br /> <br />Davidson called for City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light read Ordinance No. 1348, Series 2000. <br /> <br />Heather Balser, Assistant to the City Administrator, reviewed the revision and the <br />adoption of the new Louisville Municipal Code. Balser noted that Section 9.60.010 has <br />been further revised since the 1st reading on October 17, 2000, per the request of the <br />Library Director. At the first reading Section 9.60.010 provided only a fine for failure to <br />return library material, not to exceed the replacement cost. Further revision includes <br />additional costs to cover labor and materials associated with replacement of lost items. <br /> <br />Davidson opened the public heating and asked if anyone in the audience wished to speak <br />in favor or against Ordinance No. 1348, Series 2000. Hearing none, Davidson closed the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Mayer noted a correction, on page 3, the 6th paragraph, the 5th sentence, a typographical <br />error, the word "change" should be "charge." <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayer moved that Council approve Ordinance No. 1348, Series 2000, <br />seconded by Keany. Roll call vote was taken. The motion passed by a vote of 7-0. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1349, SERIES 2000 - AN ORDINANCE INCREASING <br />WATER RATES IN THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO - 1st reading - <br />set public hearing 11/21/00 <br /> <br />Davidson called for City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light read Ordinance No. 1349, Series 2000. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayer moved that Ordinance No. 1349, Series 2000 be set out for <br />publication and a public hearing be set for November 21, 2000, seconded by Keany. <br />All in favor. <br /> <br />12 <br /> <br /> <br />
