CityCouncil <br />WaterCommittee <br />-Draft -Meeting Minutes <br />nd <br />Friday, March 2, 2012 <br />nd <br />Council Chambers, City Hall, 2Floor <br />7:30-9:00 am(Front doors will be unlocked at 7:15 am) <br />I.Call to Order <br />–Hank Daltoncalled the meeting to order at 7:32am. <br />II.RollCall <br />was taken and the following members were present: <br />Mr. Dalton, Ms.LooandMr. Muckle(leftat 8:55am). <br />City Council: <br />Absent:- <br />Mr. Fleming, Mr. Kowar and Mr. Mathes. <br />Staff Present: <br />III.Approval of Agenda:Agenda approved. <br />IV.Approval of the Minutes:TheSeptember 9, 2011meetingminutes were <br />approved as written. <br />V.PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA: <br />no public comments <br />VI.Update –Water Resources <br />Water Supply & Demand Analysis –Staff presented a brief summary of the outlook <br />for the water year. February was a wet month and snowpack is looking okfor this <br />time of year. The City’s supply and demands are as expected for this time of year. <br />VII.Legal <br />i.Marshall Lake and South Boulder & Coal Creek Transfer –discussions are <br />continuing with Objectors. The City has solicited for a new Water <br />Resources (water rights) Consultant, since the previous engineer took a <br />position with a water utility. <br />ii.Updates Other–Briefly discussed the existing cases that the City is involved in <br />(Denver’s LIRFs case, Eldorado Springs and Eldora).
