Gunningmoved the <br />consent agenda be approved. Rommelfangerseconded. All in favor. Consent <br />agenda approved. <br />Authority Business <br />. <br /> ASpecial Events Permit Application –Avon Products Foundation –820 <br /> Main Street –Bittersweet Café <br />Renee Schiffauer, event manager, explained this is a fundraising event, open to <br />allwomen in Louisville, to benefit breast cancer research. Authority members <br />asked questions about the number of attendees, security and disposal of the <br />alcohol at the conclusion of the event. Ms. Schiffauer said they expect <br />approximately 100 adult women, they will self police as well as have the area <br />marked where alcohol is allowed and the provider of the alcohol will be <br />responsible for taking care of the alcohol after the event concludes. <br />Rommelfanger moved to approve the Special Events Permit for Avon Products <br />Foundation. Lipton seconded. Roll Call Vote –Lipton, yes –Wilson –yes, <br />Gunning –yes, Carlson –yes and Rommelfanger –yes. Application approved. <br />. <br /> BRenewal Application –Compassionate Pain Management –Medical <br /> Marijuana Center –1116-7 W. Dillon Road <br />Chairperson Wilson noted the center had employees who had not provided <br />fingerprints and information for a background check as required by the Louisville <br />Municipal Code. All employees are required to submit to a fingerprint and <br />background check. There was discussion concerning this requirement and the <br />Authority asked the Police Department to periodically check with the businesses <br />to ensure this requirement is met in the future. <br />Lipton moved the Authority approve the renewal of local approval for <br />Compassionate Pain Management on the condition the new employees are <br /> <br />
