Building Code Board of Appeals <br />Meeting Minutes <br />May 17, 2012 <br />City Hall, Spruce Room <br />749 Main Street <br />6:30 <br />PM <br />Call to Order <br /> – Vice Chairperson David Rounds called the meeting to order at <br />6:37 PM. <br />Roll Call <br /> was taken and the following members were present: <br />Board Members Present: Matthew Berry <br />David Rounds <br />Gary Mancuso <br />Board Members Absent: Peter Geise, Chairman <br />Staff Members Present: Mike Jones, Chief Building Official <br />Monica Garland, Permit Technician <br />Approval of Agenda <br /> – The agenda was approved by all present members. <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> – The minutes from the last meeting on March 15, 2012 <br />was approved by all present members. <br />Public Comments <br /> – Steve Brauneis with Planning Commission, and part of the <br />IgCC and ICC 700 review committee, said he has been impressed <br />with what he has seen with the IgCC and ICC 700 codes. He <br />believes that they are cost effective and implementable. He is <br />unable to make the next meeting, but will put together some notes <br />for Any Johnson to bring in. <br />Regular Business <br />Open Government Training <br /> – Building Code Board of Appeals <br />members Matt Berry and Gary Mancuso both attended one of the <br />two Open Government Training sessions.
