<br />Whittier, California, 90601, including as secondary codes <br />referenced therein the Generic Fire-Resistive Assemblies <br />listed in the Fire Resistive Design Manual, Thirteenth <br />Edition, dated April 1992, published by the Gypsum <br />Association as referenced in Tables 7-A, 7-B, 7-C and in <br />Appendix Chapter 12, Division II, the ANSI/ASME A17.1, <br />1987, Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators, including <br />Supplements A17.1a-1988, A17.1b-1989, the ANSI/ASME <br />A17. 3a-1986, Safety Code for Existing Elevators and <br />Escalators, including Supplements A17.3a-1989, published <br />by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the <br />Structural Welding Code--Reinforcing Steel, AWS D1.4-92 <br />(U.B.C. Standard 19-2), and the American National <br />Standard for Accessible and Useable Buildings and <br />Facilities, All7.1-1992, published by the Council of <br />Building Officials as modified or amended in the Uniform <br />Building Code referenced therein, are hereby adopted by <br />reference thereto and incorporated into and made a part <br />of the Louisville Municipal Code. The purpose and <br />subject matter of the Uniform Building Code include <br />regulating construction aspects of building through <br />comprehensive provisions and standards regulating the <br />erection, construction, enlargement, alteration, <br />equipping, use, height, area, and maintenance of <br />buildings and structures and providing greater safety to <br />the public by uniformity in building laws. Except as <br />otherwise provided herein, the Uniform Building Code is <br />adopted in full, including the outline of contents, <br />index, and appendix contained therein. Any reference to <br />the Uniform Building Code within this chapter shall be to <br />the 1994 Edition of said Code. <br /> <br />Section 2. Section 15.04.020 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code is hereby amended to read as follows (words and numbers to be <br />deleted are stricken through): <br /> <br />15.04.020 Amendments. <br /> <br />The amendments set forth in sections 15.04.030 <br />through 15.04.100 are made to the Uniform Building Code, <br />1991 Edition. <br /> <br />Section 3. Section 15.04.030 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code is hereby amended to read as follows (numbers to be deleted <br />are stricken through; numbers to be added are underlined; words to <br />be added are capitalized): <br /> <br />15.04.030 section J04(b) 107.2 -- Building permit fees. <br /> <br />Section J04(b) 107.2 of the code and "Table No. -3-1lI: <br />I-A Building Permit Fees" shall read as follows: <br /> <br />2 <br />
