He stated that he could offer a solution to growth and overpopulation <br />and asked that Council invite him to a work session to discuss those issues. He <br />distributed copies of several articles, letters and documents to the Mayor and Council. <br /> <br />Doug Grinbergs, 530 W. Sycamore Circle, Louisville, CO voiced his concern about the <br />Louisville Fishing Pond Project. He stated that the area in question is a wildlife habitat <br />and that the wildlife is jeopardized by this project. He did not agree with City's decision <br />to go forward with the project, and stated that it was not the desire of the residents of <br />Louisville. He stated that appropriate notice was not given to the residents and suggested <br />that Council stop the project until public meetings can be conducted, and the desires of <br />the residents are known. He stated that the City should hire three natural resource <br />specialists to manage open'space and wildlife in Louisville. He presented documents of <br />his findings to the City Clerk. <br /> <br />Charlotte Buck, 532 W. Sycamore Circle, Louisville, CO also voiced his concern about <br />the Louisville Fishing Pond Project. She stated that several of her neighbors are <br />concerned about the destruction of the wildlife habitat and that she opposed the <br />Louisville Fishing Pond project. She stated that she did not receive notice of a public <br />meeting when this matter was reviewed in 1997. She suggested that the City consider <br />different methods of delivering notices. <br /> <br />Christine Wecker, 115 W. Cherry Street, Louisville, CO addressed the issue of the <br />restoration of the pond. She stated she has been a resident of Louisville for forty years <br />and has lived in the area around the pond for most of her life. She noted that the <br />swimming hole is a restoration of the pond, which was in existence for forty-five years. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
