He felt these structures would have a direct impact on the
quality of life in this area, and on the Eldora Mountain area. He asked that the City
Administrator look into what is happening and inform Council.

Mayer also reported on a proposed draft of an Intergovernmental Agreement from the
Recycling Authority, which would terminate the operations of that Authority. He asked
the City Administrator if the matter could be put on the agenda for Council approval.

Keany commented that the open space area for the swimming hole project is not an area
for having dogs off their leash. He asked that residents call the police department if they
see dogs running at large in that area.

Brown stated that he was encouraged by the tremendous turnout of the Ward and
Mayor's meeting. He noted that a lot of concern was voiced about the pond issue and it
was great to have citizen participation. He agreed that the City needs expertise in the
open space area that would focus on the investment put into those lands. He hoped that
the Council could move forward with that issue.

Davidson stated that Finance Committee reviewed the Natural Gas bill for the City and
noted an increase of 137% from last year.
