Business Retention & Development Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />August 6, 2012 <br />Page 4of 4 <br />Xcel. Louisville is working with aconsortium of other Cities along the Front Range who are also <br />not happy with this ruling. <br />The planned LePeep at the former A&W building is planning to open in the October/November <br />timeframe. Currently working on improvements to the building. <br />Possibility of a bank looking at the old 7-11 building. <br />Street Faire Update –Chris Pritchard said the Street Faire is having another great season. They <br />are in contention to be better than last year. They expect big crowds for the last two weeks of the <br />faire. <br />Pedestrian crossing signs on Main Street well received. Public Works and Planning staff worked <br />on providing these temporary signs. Planning Director Russ said there will be a test crosswalk <br />coming soon. In September, discussion about patios planned and looking at a mid-block crossing <br />located at approximately the Rex. Patio discussion will go through a public process of presenting <br />to BRAD, LRC, DBA and community. <br />DISCUSSION ITEMS FOR NEXT MEETING <br />- <br />Highway 42 <br />Comprehensive Plan Update <br />The meeting adjourned at 9:17 a.m. <br />ADJOURN– <br /> <br />
