This is to be revisited at the April Board <br />meeting. <br />2. Gateway Signage, Landscaping, Management and Redesign <br />This item is to be removed as an active item and the Board would like periodic <br />reports from Chris Lichty if there is any action on this by the City. <br />3. Development of Plant Management Guidelines <br />This is an item that the Board wants to continue to pursue during 2006. Theresa <br />Round has been working on this and will continue do so. Board would like to see <br />the guidelines completed as soon as possible. Lise Trudeau indicated that she <br />can assist Theresa in the collection of pictures of the plants that can be used for <br />the guideline. Board members discussed including guidance on the <br />management of water and soils as part of the guideline. <br />4. Develop of HFAB web page <br />This will be kept as an initiative during 2006. Fred Banta is to discuss with <br />Meredith Muth. <br />5. Horticultural and Forestry Advisory Board Award <br />This item is to be discussed at a later date when Susan Spaulding is in <br />attendance. <br />6. Other items suggested by Board members, staff and the public <br />Chris Lichty suggested that the HFAB activity should be reported in one of the <br />City's newsletters. <br />IX. Arboretum <br />1. Arbor Day <br />Chris Lichty will discuss Arbor Day with Department staff and whether Arbor Day <br />activities can be integrated into the City Park dedication. Chris will report to <br />Board at the April meeting. <br />2. City Council Meeting — Discuss presentation <br />This is an ongoing item to be discussed with Dave Clabotts and Susan Spaulding <br />at the April HFAB meeting.No Clabotts. <br />X. Community Park <br />Discussed the dedication ceremony and the Plant Management Guidelines under <br />previous agenda items. <br />
