Louisville City Council Meeting <br />December 18, 2001 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />Approval of the Minutes 12/04/01 <br />Reappointments to City of Louisville Boards & Commissions <br />Reschedule January 1, 2002 City Council Meeting to January 2, 2002 <br />Resolution No. 62, Series 2001 - Final PUD Development Plan, Lots 15 <br />and 16, Block 2, CTC First Filing, Innovative Openings (637 South <br />Pierce Street) <br /> <br />Sisk stated that he had a concern with Consent Agenda Item E., Resolution No. 62, on <br />Innovative Openings. He asked for confirmation from Planning Director Paul Wood that <br />all CTC and IDDSG guidelines had been met, and that the applicant has consented to the <br />stipulations set by the Planning Commission. Planning Director Wood confirmed <br />revisions to the PUD, and acknowledgement for compliance with the conditions. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br /> THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Sisk wished the citizens of Louisville and the City Staff a happy holiday season. He <br />stated that the tragic events of September 11, 2001, have affected everyone. He praised <br />the Mayor and City Council action to send money to the City of New York. He asked <br />that in light on those events, on this holiday season that family and religious convictions <br />be renewed. He relayed his best wished to the Mayor, City Council and City Staff. <br /> <br />Sisk asked that next year the City's holiday decorations be spruced up. He noted that <br />many light poles do not have decorations. He asked that Council consider setting aside <br />funds for new holiday decorations. <br /> <br />Brown commended the Chamber of Commerce for the Parade of Lights. He stated that <br />them was a large crowd and it was a tremendous event for the City of Louisville. He <br />reported that members of the Downtown Business Association have asked that some of <br />the lights remain throughout the year and with Council approval, the DBA would take <br />most of the burden of the project. He stated that it would be good for downtown. <br /> <br />Keany commended the Downtown Business Association for their support, their energy, <br />the volunteers, and the funding to maintain the holiday lights year round.
