ORDINANCE NO. 1132 SERIES 1993 AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF FRONT STREET LOCATED IN THE SOUTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 8, TOWNSHIP 1 SOUTH, RANGE 69 WEST OF THE 6TH P.M. WITHIN THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO. WHEREAS, a portion of Front street within the City of Louisville, County of Boulder, state of Colorado is not used or required as thoroughfares for the public or for any public use, except for an easement as provided herein; and WHEREAS, the vacation of this portion of Front street is in the best interests of the City and the pUblic; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: Section 1. That portion of Front street described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein is vacated and the title thereto shall vest as provided by law. section 2. All existing easements for public utilities shall not be altered or amended by virtue of this ordinance. Section 3. The City hereby reserves from the property vacated pursuant to Section 1 of this Ordinance rights-of-way and easements for the installation, construction, reconstruction, operation, repair, placement, replacement, use, maintenance, of drainage, sewer, gas, water and similar pipes, appurtenances, lines, conduits, mains, or other facilities now or hereafter located in the rights-of-way vacated by this Ordinance, together with the right of ingress and egress in and to, over, under and across the rights-of-way vacated by this Ordinance and for electric, telephone, cable and similar lines and appurtenances. Section 4. The Mayor is authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary to evidence the vacation of that portion of Front street vacated by this ordinance.
