Louisville City Council Meeting
September 3, 2002
Page 10

Johnstone stressed since this is an existing building with a partially developed site, the
intent is to bring the property into IDDSG compliance when practicable and reasonable.

Davidson called for Applicant presentation.

Ed Ladley, 7861 Valmont Road, Boulder, CO, stated that his family purchased the
property in 2000, and has worked with the Planning Department to complete the
application. He voiced his belief that the improvements to the property will be an asset to
the City. He addressed the City's concern for the long-term revitalization plan for the
area and stated that their intentions are short-term, and noted that he is looking for other
properties in Louisville. He stressed the business would generate revenue for the City.

COUNCIL COMMENTS

Sisk stated that the application represents a better use of the property.
