CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br /> <br />DECEMBER 10, 2002 <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Louisville met in special session at Louisville Library <br />Conference Room, 950 Spruce Street, Louisville, Colorado. Mayor Davidson called the <br />meeting to order at 6:00 p.m., and the following persons were present - <br /> <br />CiG Counc~: <br /> <br />Mayor Tom Davidson, Mayor Pro-Tern Charles Sisk, <br />Council Members: Michele Van Pelt, Arnold Levihn, <br />Tom Mayer, Don Brown and John Keany, <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br /> <br />Bill Simmons, City Manager <br />Charlene Laus, Finance Director <br />Bruce Goodman, Chief of Police <br />Keith Williams, Recreation/Senior Services Director <br />Tom Phare, Public Works Director <br />Nancy Varra, City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Davidson asked that Item C - Water Rates, be withdrawn from the agenda, and called for <br />other changes to the agenda. Hearing none, Davidson moved that the agenda be <br />approved, as amended, seconded by Sisk. All in favor. <br /> <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> <br />2003 BUDGET - PUBLIC HEARING (published Daily Camera November 30, 2002) <br /> - continued from 12/03/02 <br /> <br />ADOPTION OF THE 2003 BUDGET <br /> <br />Davidson called for Staff presentation. <br /> <br />City Manager Bill Simmons reviewed the suggested revised capital projects budget: <br /> <br />1. A reduction to the street reconstruction budget totaling $689,000 over the 5-year <br /> term of the capital project fund. Proposed allocations for 2003 and 2004 are <br /> based on Public Works estimates and then adjusting the remaining three years by <br /> three percent (3%). <br />2. New tails for 2003 have been reduced from $120,000 to $100,000 for 2003. <br /> <br /> <br />
