Distribution Open Government Pamphlet & Code of Ethics: Training sessions are <br />twice a year in April and October. Meredyth will send out reminders for training dates <br />and times along with those individuals required to attend. All LCC members must attend <br />Open Government training every two years. <br />VII. 2013 Outgoing President's Report: <br />o Susan Honstein explained that 2013 was a very big year for the LCC. We worked on <br />the following: <br />• Re- evaluated our charter to reflect current demands and activities; <br />• Reduced our programming to avoid competing with other arts organizations; <br />• Acknowledged our status as Scientific & Cultural Facilities District (SCFD) <br />Tier 3, Cast III (smallest non - profit organization in Denver Metropolitan Area) <br />- Note: Need all members to complete SCFD electronic survey coming from <br />Sheila Meiger <br />• Obtained approval for a half -time Arts & Events Coordinator to help with <br />continuity of LCC due to 3 year terms of Council members; <br />• Moved LCC from under the Recreation Center to under the City of Louisville <br />Manager's Office - Malcolm Fleming; <br />• Updated the Use Policy for the Louisville Arts Center to facilitate the shared <br />use of the center between the resident arts groups: Louisville Cultural Council <br />(LCC), Louisville Arts Association (LAA), Louisville Arts District (LAD), <br />CenterStage Theatre Company, and Coal Creek Theater of Louisville. <br />Private rentals are also part of the Use Policy for private events, i.e. <br />weddings, art /drama classes, movies, etc. <br />• Updated operations budget with City of Louisville; <br />• Obtained professional evaluation and recommendations from John Kinkade <br />of J.K. Designs, Inc. regarding the plan for art and sculpture garden in the <br />City of Louisville. <br />VIII. Treasurer's Report: Denice presented overview of treasurer's status & responsibilities: <br />• Sales & Use tax was paid for 2013; <br />• Cash box needed for all LCC events with $200 cash for ticket & t -shirt sales; <br />• Standard fees paid to performers -> 80% of ticket sales with a guarantee of at <br />least $200 <br />• LCC earned $211 from Wet Paint and t -shirt sales <br />• Savings account is set aside for the Sculpture Garden project <br />• SCFD grant due March 25, 2014 <br />
